La Ventana del Paraiso project has been awarded two distinguished landscape design awards, First Place Xeriscape Award by the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, and the esteemed ALCA Award of Distinction. This Spanish Colonial/Mediterranean landscape lies in the charming Nob Hill Estates of the Omni Tucson National Resort. Two custom created Cantera stone fountains slow the pace of life for this jewel of a garden while droplets of cool water trickle slowly into the fountain pools. The entry and walkways impart a traditional Mediterranean feel in this stunning courtyard and front drive landscape. A rich plant palette underscores the outdoor living space which comes alive with fabulous blooms and bursts of bright color bring into play sustainable native plants. Berms and swales passively channel water during rain storms, while boulders add interest at the ground level.
This is now a multi-award-winning project!
